The superfamily Tetranychoidea comprises a diverse group of plant-feeding mite species, many of which have important agricultural and ecological roles. This work offers a significant expansion of the known fauna, incorporating both historical records and newly collected data since 2013 (As a continuation and complement to Beyzavi et al. 2013). The catalogue compiles critical taxonomic, ecological, and distributional information, including host plant associations and collection localities across various provinces. This updated checklist not only expands the known inventory but also provides a valuable foundation for identifying biodiversity hotspots and research gaps. It reflects the growing body of scientific contributions over time, tracking the progress of Acarological studies in Iran. This study was prepared through an extensive review of literature and fresh field data. Plant materials such as leaves and twigs were collected and processed using water-detergent washing and sieving methods. Mites were then preserved in 70% ethanol and identified under a stereomicroscope after mounting in Hoyer’s medium. In addition to providing an organized record of species, host range, and ecological roles, this catalogue is currently being developed into an online database. This future platform will promote accessibility, encourage collaboration, and enable continuous updates by the Acarological community both in Iran and internationally.
